I was recently exposed to high-level doses of mmorpg from Guild Wars, but managed to deattach myself long enough to avoid total addiction. Now looking back on what I did, I felt dirty and stupid. Why on earth do people play such repeatitive games? What keeps them hooked? Simplisity? The fact that a fresh player has as much chance to kill a veteran as everybody else?

Addictions aside, my College days are flying past. Weeks are feeling like days, hours like minutes and whilst everything is rosy for me, my friends have having shitty days. Daniel was wrongly accused of stealing booze from catering and recieved a fist to the face. Gemma has dropped out of childcare after reliasing that it wasn't what she wanted to do after all. I've been swinging by the Legionpharma website (which is now owned by Sintek) in hopes that it has remotely changed or a clue has been introduced... No such luck.

Also, the only game that seems to be worth getting from what I've seen so far this year is SiN:Episodes. I'm just glad that Ritual have given the positive on a SDK on or after release, hopefully a sizeable amount of mods, maps or models will be processed in the months after. I want to be an active member of the community, and my intention is to do that by helping out Chris at www.sinepisodes.net in my free time (Which I seem to have alot of nowadays). Right now I'm just waiting for an all-clear message from him.
